Ingredients:
- 3-4 lb pork sirloin tip roast
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 2 apples, cored and sliced
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
Instructions:
Season the pork sirloin tip roast with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder
Place the sliced apples in the bottom of the slow cooker
Top the apples with the seasoned pork roast
Sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the pork roast
In a small bowl, whisk together apple cider vinegar, honey, soy sauce, chicken broth, and Dijon mustard
Pour the mixture over the pork roast and apples in the slow cooker
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the pork is tender and reaches an internal temperature of 145F 63C
Once cooked, remove the pork roast from the slow cooker and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing
Serve the sliced pork roast with the cooked apples and bacon, spooning some of the sauce from the slow cooker over the top
